Have you heard the news? PAWS has purchased the former “Mt. Vernon Veterinary Clinic” for the new home of their shelter and Pet Resource Center. “Over the past few months, the board of PAWS has been hard at work building an operational structure and plans that will provide the organization with a solid foundation, mission clarity, and future sustainability” said Jan Switzer, President of the organization.
After purchasing the building last week, the non-profit organization is now laser focused on raising the money needed to renovate and operate the facility. The goal is to have the facility renovated, outfitted, hire a trained mission-focused staff, and have sufficient funding to operate in the beginning 2024.
We’ll need your help to make this happen. Please consider contributing to the future of Franklin County’s pets.
