In August of 2023, PAWS of Franklin County Texas purchased the former Mt. Vernon Veterinary Clinic with the intention of remodeling and refurbishing it to create a dog and cat adoption center for Franklin County. Much-needed repair and replacement of the roof, critical repairs and reworking of the plumbing, required electrical updates, replacement of damaged sheet metal, pressing repairs to 2 of the existing HVAC units, and the addition of gates and fencing for safety must be done before we can open our doors to pets in need. You can follow our progress below, and then donate safely online at https://www.pawsfctx.org/our-new-shelter/

Thank you for your support of our mission.
